The TVC reported on an incident on a flight where Sen. Chuck Schumer argued with a flight attendant about turning off his cell phone,  (the permalink to this page was not working), criticized climate change expert Al Goreacle for erroneous statements, and criticized President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid for going “on one of the wildest spending binges in American history.”

An email from the TVC asked for “tax deductible” donations, and a second email linked to articles on TVC’s website.

The AFA urges its members to boycott Apple and Toys R Us because of their advertising support of the CBS program “Two and a Half Men,” which features plot lines that are not family friendly.

The AFA also promotes a new film on global warming titled “Not Evil, Just Wrong” in which the filmmakers argue that “the only threats to America (and the rest of the world) are the flawed science and sky-is-falling rhetoric of Al Gore and his allies in environmental extremism.”

The AFA also posts a video of a news conference with Nancy Pelosi when she said that imprisonment is a fair punishment for those who do not purchase insurance. They also pass along Gallup poll results that indicate most Americans say health care is not the government’s responsibility. Additionally the AFA chides the Republican party’s alternative to health care reform, noting that it would include funding for elective abortions.

Bryan Fischer also continues his objections against Islam today.  His concluding paragraph: “It’s time we moved past the nonsense that all religions are equal. They most certainly are not. Islam, in fact, is lethal to our national security interests and until we recognize that simple fact, more American soldiers are going to die.” In another post today he also notes that, “All cultures are not equally worthy, and not all religions are equally true,  as much as multiculturalists wish they were.”

The AFA also briefly mentions that the recent congressional race in upstate New York’s 23rd district may actually end up in a recount.

Elijah Friedeman reminds readers to remember the families of soldiers who are at war.

An AFA Action Alert encourages readers to make their opinions known before the House votes on their version of the health care reform package this weekend. They refer to the bill as disastrous and dub it ‘PelosiCare.’

Another article by the AFA compares Glen Beck to Oprah Winfrey insofar as their endorsement of books can make copies fly off of retailer’s shelves.

The AFA also criticizes recent rumblings by Democrats wanting to reduce the national debt, stating that their actions have only increased the year to year deficit and further government programs will dry the nation further into the red.

The AFA reports that “Green” authors are actually using a lot of trees to print all their books, defeating the purpose of their message.

In another opinion piece they contend that government intrusion in the private sector will almost automatically create a monopoly.

They also highlight a recent exchange between a news organization and Speaker Pelosi when she stumbled when asked about the constitutionality of an individual mandate.

They also inform readers about a case in California where a man assaulted his significant other causing her to have a miscarriage. They note that there should be no difference between this case and abortion.

They also report recent poll results that show that more Americans self identify as conservative than liberal.

Another post indicates that health care reform could lead to more fraud by criminals. This became clear after a piece on 60 minutes about Medicare fraud.

Another article highlights the number of African American abortions in the United States and notes that if it were in a different country it would be termed genocide by the mainstream press but instead is ignored.

They also note that one of Pres. Obama czars, Cass Sunstein, wants to eliminate the concept of legal marriage all together. The article concludes, “Sunstein’s bizarre and dangerous theories are more evidence of just how radical our president is.”

Finally, the AFA asks its readership to contact their representative about the latest hate crime legislation.

A post today by the AFA includes a quote from President Obama where he indicated that Democrats are not beholden to their political party while Republicans “Do what they’re told.”  The AFA responds with: “Has Obama been living under a rock for the past couple months? What does he think the whole TEA party movement was? The driving force behind the TEA parties was Republicans who were bucking the leadership of the GOP.”

The AFA also directs it readership to a new ad featuring celebrities in favor of health care reform.

Another post quotes White House Communications Director Anita Dunn in reference to the Obama campaign controlling the media during the general election.

The AFA urges individuals to contact their representatives and tell them to vote against hate crime legislation, saying it will silence resistance to gay marriage.

In another post the AFA advises its members to contact Sun Products, asking them to pull their advertisement from the show ‘Cougar Town’ which they call ‘depraved’ and ‘anything but funny.’

Next, the AFA indicates that the faith of Oprah Winfrey will eventually make a person feel empty, while belief in Jesus Christ will always satisfy believers.

A post by W. Michael Kilgore points out the hypocrisy of President Obama’s life.  Kilgore describes Obama’s position on global warming by contrasting it with his carbon emitting trip to Copenhagen, his support of the NEA, while sending his two children to private school, and finally contrasts the Obama’s embracing of ‘pulling oneself up’ with their current belief that capitalism is flawed.

Elijah Friedeman highlights a recent interview by Nancy Pelosi on ‘The Charlie Rose Show.’ He points out the contradiction in two statements by the Speaker. One is that she could possibly support a Value Added Tax,  the other is that there will be no tax increase on the middle class. Friedeman believes that both of these statements cannot be true.

Finally Jerry Richardson evaluates Pres. Obama’s strategy in Afghanistan. Richardson concludes that it will likely be a sort of triangulation, a point halfway between a complete withdrawal and a huge additional force deployment to Afghanistan.
