ERLC and Richard Land

by Jessica Bryan

The ERLC discussed the debate about abortion funding in health care  reform and the uncertainty of the pro-life gains made in the House by the Stupak-Pitts Amendment, the Senate vote to begin debate on the health care reform bill that “includes federal funding of abortion as part of a government takeover of health care,” linked to the ERLC’s analysis of how the Senate’s health care bill will directly and indirectly fund abortion, and discussed Richard Land’s joining onto the “Manhattan Declaration, which addresses the sanctity of life, traditional marriage and religious liberty.”

Richard Land discussed health care and the 9/11 trials, and has an interview with Joi Wasill.

An ERLC action alert email  urges subscribers to ask their senators to vote no if the Senate health care bill does not ban funding of abortion in language as strong as the Stupak-Pitts Amendment.
