Liberty Counsel: Health care bill is “largely unreadable”

by D. Bennett

The Liberty Counsel is bemoaning the size and scope of H.R. 3962, the House of Representatives’ health care reform bill.

“This bill is largely unreadable by the average voter,” the Counsel writes. “It is longer than Leo Tolstoy’s ponderous book “War and Peace” and five times longer than the Old Testament! And this monstrosity is mostly written in ‘legalese.'”

The LC also criticized the bill for creating “a so-called ‘public option’ and taxpayer-funded abortions.”
