2 posts today by the AFA.

First, Jeremy Wiggins highlights the Kerry-Boxer bill moving its way through Congress that he describes as “cap and trade light”.  The author goes on to say that environmental regulations put an onerous regulations on business interests and that the current economic downturn does not provide a good backdrop for climate change legislation.

Finally, Wiggins takes to task Pres. Obama’s decision to travel to Denmark to lobby the International Olympic Committee. He estimates the cost of the air travel of just shy of 1 million dollars.  He concludes, “I personally don’t think the middle of a recession where we have a 9.8% unemployment rate is the time for the President to fly to Copenhagen to shell out a favor for his hometown of Chicago. Do you?”
