FPL: climate change and maternity care

by M. Pulliam

Faith in Public Life predicts moral arguments and cap-and-tax rhetoric from different ends of the religious spectrum as climate change legislation is introcuded in the Senate.

FPL is glad to see that religious organizations are bringing attention to climate change as the global climate discussion in Copenhagen appraoches.

FPL criticizes Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) for spreading misinformation and relying on his faith to support false claims on global warming.

FPL wants maternity care to be included in health-care reform and abortion legislation and is disappointed that Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) disagrees.
